I. Molecular Formula: ZrOCL2 • 8H2O

II. Performance:

White needle-like crystals, when heated to 150 ℃,it will lost 6 crystal water, and 210 ℃ lose all crystal water; soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, ether; insoluble in other organic solvents; slightly soluble in hydrochloric acid, while the aqueous solution is acidic.

III. Application:

For production of other zirconium products, it's the main raw material, widely used in textile, leather, rubber additives, metal surface treatment agent, paint desiccant, refractories, ceramics, catalysts, waterproofing agent, etc..
